 The SNSA is a non-profit venture – a credit cooperative operating in the Nashik region to provide micro-finance schemes to women for their economic empowerment. Currently, the SNSA has registered as many as 10657 members in Nashik – a considerable number – and is adding over 100 members each month.
With an ultimate goal of creating micro entrepreneurs, the SNSA helps women to gain access to market knowledge, access to the customer and of course, capital required to begin the business.
Currently, SNSA offers credit on 16% interest on a monthly reducing balance without any collateral. SNSA also manages SHGs and manages ‘Haats’ -- village markets in over 20 places.
